The Laugh Man and Laughing Laura became Laughter Friends and decided to produce an album of the most contagious laughter imaginable!

They recorded the first part with a group of laughers in the legendary Sun Studio of Memphis, Tennessee, known as the birthplace of Rock and Roll. Many famous records were made there by artists like B.B. King, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bonnie Raitt, Def Leppard and U2. Imagine how hilarious it was to have people rolling around the floor laughing their sides out in such an historic site!

"Against the assault of laughter, nothing can stand."

They recorded in three other studios after that—just to make sure they had a wide variety of unique laughs. All in all, sixty-one laughers were involved from all around the USA as well as Israel, Australia and Chile. This was mixed together with the sounds of a trumpet improvising on jazz standards while laughing.
If laughter is medicine, this recording is prescription strength! It’s such a relentless stream of positive energy that no grumpiness can withstand it. In fact, it’s so concentrated, you probably can’t listen to the whole album at once and do it responsibly because you’ll be laughing too hard! The video below gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the production.
